Hi Thomas! Thanks for your question! You mean to work as a restructuring consultant what are the soft and hard skills? I would say hard skills: analytical understanding and finance/business understanding (ideally also Excel/PPT skills). As soft skills you need to be a team player, work solution oriented, be able to work in a structured way and be motivated and show entrepreneurial spirit.

To be able to work as a restructuring consultant at RB you need to have a university degree.

A CRO is a dedicated person that is hired by a firm to lead the restructuring of the firm until the restructuring is finalized. They often employ restructuring consultants as support. Sometimes our partners take on positions as CRO in a company.

Hi Thomas, if you have that knowledge that would be great. But it is not required and it is still learning on the job. We have our own approach to defining restructuring concepts which you learn on the job :)
