Additional information

Hi everyone, I am currently a Masters student and am highly interested in starting my career as a consultant. I am wondering if it easier to get a full-time offer, if I would do an internship at Roland Berger first. Some companies prefer to hire interns. Thank you!

Hi Paul Jakob, for the application to a full-time position it is important that you've already gained practical experience. Of course it is also good if you have done an internship with us in advance. However, it is of course possible to apply for a permanent position without a previous RB internship. We do like both :)

Hi Marika, I‘d have a follow-up question here. For students just before the end of their masters, would you recommend to apply as an intern and trying to convert as a full-time then? Or should candidates apply for a full-time position directly?

Hi Markus, if you have already written your master's thesis, I recommend that you apply directly for a full-time position.

Ok, good to know! Thank you! I‘d have two more follow-ups. Do I also have chances for a full-time position in restructuring at RB without previous consulting internships while focusing more on M&A and investment banking? Or would I go for an internship then?
When would I place my specific interest in the Competence Center Restructuring? (Motivation letter, Interview etc?)

You can also apply for a full-time position in restructuring without an consulting internship. It is important for us that you have worked strategically and conceptually in your previous positions. You can place your interest for the Restructuring CC directly in your motivation letter.
