I will soon have my interview for an internship at Roland Berger. Hence, I would like to know if I should refresh my knowledge also in this area.

Hi Lisa, nice to e-meet you. The case interviews are done by consultants and often refer to real project cases. As such, it definitely can be the case that you need some accounting / finance background in terms of P&L structure, profitability analysis etc. - I would recommend to refresh some basic knowledge here

It won't be like a pure "knowledge" test on finance and accounting but more applying the know-how to case examples
