Additional information

I know there will be a personal fit interview and then a qualitative and a quantitative interview. Could you please elaborate a bit, what each of the interviews will look like approximately? Thank you!

In the personal fit interview, we look at the candidate's background and experiences. We also want to find out what motivates a candidate to go into consulting and, in particular, what has aroused their interest in Roland Berger.

The technical interview is conducted on the basis of cases, in which we examine the business sense of a candidate.

How does an applicant approach a case, does she/he find a comprehensible structure and also takes the interviewer along adequately?

Does someone bring in her/his general knowledge, so that she/he can also work on unfamiliar topics well?

Hi Katharina. Okay great, thank you very much - in the interview invitation call, the recruiter quickly talked about the personal fit interview and that one should prepare a 2-5 minute pitch and mentionned that you can also prepare slides/ pictures etc. So it sounds to me like one is expected to be a bit creative with the pitch and not just talk about the main CV aspects, how it would be in a "traditional" self introduction. Did I get that right?

And concerning the qualitative interview: She mentionned that I will be given a problem and then some time (I think 15 minutes?) to come up with a solution - so is the goal to only do the analysis or to also create a short slide (or similar) to present the solution?

Hi Katharina,
Thank you for the information! How does the recruitment process for entry level positions exactly look like?

Yes, for our full time positions we ask for a self presentation. Since we already have the CV and therefore already know the experiences made, it is indeed advisable to use the self-presentation to provide information about one's personality.

Take the chance to introduce your "uniqueness".

Concerning your question on the qualitative interview: It depends on the interviewer. Be open to everything and especially prepared for everything ;)
