Is it possible to get an internship after the second semester?

Hi Johannes. Thank you very much for your question. We take interns from the fourth semester on. Interns are temporary consultants with us, i.e. they really get to know the consultant's everyday life, so we require previous practical experience. Does this answer your question?

Regarding the comment of requiring practical experience, are extracurricular student consulting positions of value in an application, or should they be from a proper consulting firm?

I have been working as a student consultant myself. It was a great help I'd say - not only CV-wise, but also with regard to skill set

In our experience, practical experience before is really necessary and leads to a better internship experience. Extrcurricular student consulting positions are a plus.
