Hi Karla, nice to e-meet you! :) If you start as a junior consulant at RB, you don't need a specific background! Be passionate about this topic and eager to learn more about it - I would say this is the key to be a successful consultant for such projects :)

Hülgen, so nice to e-meet you! Thank you for your input, I am very passionate about the topic and for this reason, started my master's in Circular Economy in Austria.

I also wanted to ask you, which opportunities especially for students and fresh graduates does RB offer? I have heard great things about the company from icons - student consulting

Of course, with this background, you can only benefit from your knowledge! What kind of opportunities do you mean?

There are many options to focus on this topic! Starting with an internship, you can already indicate the topics you are particularly interested in after the successful recruiting day. Also if you want to join us permanently and want to focus on sustainability & climate action, it's your choice!

Hello, to add to Karlas question:
what kind of experiences do you prefer for an internship? Of course, we should have some experience within consulting or similar industries but is there any special aspect for the sustainability practice? Or is the recruiting process standardized and if finished successfully you have the opportunity to tell RB your prefered cc?

Hi Mattis, thanks for your question. In fact, our recruiting process is standardized, which means especially for internships, you're not required to already have specialist know how of a certain topic.

Thank you, for your answer! Is there any difference between the processes of an undergraduate vs. graduate student?

Regarding the position of "Consultant Sustainability/ Climate Action Center": Are you planning to establish Sustainability Consultants outside of Germany also?

Concerning Mattis's question: of course, we take the seniority level of candidates into account in our recruiting process. That means if you already graduated, we expect you to already have a few more practical experiences than as an undergraduate. Therefore our expectations in the interviews are higher. Actually the sustainability practice is a global practice :)

Thanks! Was just asking because its listed under "all German Offices" on the careers website... So would it be possible to apply for this position but join RB in an Office outside of Germany?
