Could you elaborate more on your transition from accounting to consulting? Do those disciplines connect in today's work?

Consultant
Thank you very much for your question! I focused mainly on accounting and auditing during my bachelor studies. Later, I only took selected finance modules, but my main focus was on management and controlling. Overall, I have to admit that the accounting expertise and experience as well as the logical understanding are very helpful for all finance-related project tasks. To this day, I see it as an advantage and specialized knowledge that sets one apart. I do not need it in every project situation but I feel comfortable when I have to deal with those specific questions.
