Where can I submit my cover letter when applying for a summer internship?

Dear Human Resources team, In the application process for a summer internship at Roland Berger I am asked to submit a "Message to the Hiring Manager". Is this space meant to be only a short passage stating why I am applying to Roland Berger or should I insert my cover letter here. If I am expected to only write a short paragraph on why I am applying to Roland Berger, will there be space anywhere for me to upload my cover letter so that I can introduce myself and some of my skills? Thank you in advance!
