Internship or full time position

Since the Start.ing23 event in munich I'm part of the Roland Berger talent program. I enjoyed getting in touch with RB and could imagine a full time position. I'm currently doing my masters and will finish in october this year. Regarding that, when would be a good time to apply? Since I'm a physics student I don't have any working experience yet in consulting. Is it resonable to apply without that or would it be better to apply for an intership first?
