Hi Lucie, our partners are highly incentivized to cooperate across functions and industries, bringing the best possible team and ideas to the client. So there are clearly defined key accounts, but we do bring in the best team (also from the partner side). And from my experience, you can definitely refuse a case.

Thank you for you answer. A consultant must be specialized on a specific industry for example or it is more important to work on different industries?

Hi Lucie, this depends on the region/country you want to enter in. In Germany we specialize upon entry for an industry or a function (restructuring, digital, operations,...). In other countries, we start in a generalist position and specialize later on.

Okay great thank you for your answer. For innovation consulting at Roland Berger do we need to have technical skills and background?

Can you specify innovation? In terms of technical innovation or rather general innovation management?

General innovation management

Then you don't really need a technical background at all - innovation is especially driven from our digital competence centers currently and there are a lot of non-technical backgrounds there. However it helps obviously to be very open-minded :)

You mean in terms of "how to apply" or the process once you accepted for the interviews?
