Additional information

E.g. in terms of consulting approach, work within the company, etc. Where do you see your USP?

Hi Matthias. Roland Berger differs from the other top strategy consulting firms in its organisational structure as each consultant belongs to a Competence Center. This means that you will specialise in a certain industry, e.g. Automotive or Transportation, or a certain functional expertise, e.g. restructuring or operations right from the beginning. On this way, we can offer our clients the "ideal" project team with the right set of skills and experiences.

Hi Konstantin, thank you for your answer! From your own personal experience, how would you describe and assess the level of individuality, freedom and entrepreneurship in working at Roland Berger?

As we are still a fairly "small" company, the level of freedom is extremely high. If you have a good idea, you will be given the chance to implement it.

Thank you, sounds interesting! Do you perhaps have personal examples or from your projects that illustrate this point?

I can add an example to that question: I always wanted to do an office exchange and in 2018, I got the chance on quite a short-term notice. Even if there was no 'established' path to do this exchange, both HR and the consulting colleagues were super flexible and hands-on to find a solution (in terms of logistics, admin etc.).
