Where do you see the future of mobility: renewable sources, fossil fuels, electricity, etc?
Additional information
In Scandanavia, electricity is mainly from renewable sources. In Africa or Asia, e.g. India, electricity is largely from fossil fuels. If such regions were to start electrifying mobility, then 1. there would be a severe load on the grid for private use and infrastructure, as currently the electric generation is not enough and 2. if fossil fuels are ramped up to increase electricity generation, then looking at the total ecological balance, more CO2 would be produced over its entire life cycle by an electric car than by a diesel/petrol car.

Hi Aditya.
Electrification should always go in line with transformation of energy generation. You are right, total eco balance is unfavourable if energy generation is solely based on fossils such as coal. For countries and areas that you managed sole electrifications doesn't solve the problem. Efforts have to be put in energy transportation and very importantly the actual of individual transportation has to be reduced. Improving public transport (especially rail based), adapt urban design so that people don't have to travel too much every day etc.
