From studying Culture and Economy to recruiting future consultants
During my studies, I got the opportunity to delve into two areas of interest of mine: English and American language, literature and culture, as well as human resource management. While these areas might seem quite different at first, they actually fit together perfectly and prepared me very well for working in an international company, where you have the chance to work with diverse individuals located in various countries.
My first on-the-job experience with recruiting was during my first internship in a tourism company in Ireland, where I was responsible for recruiting all the company's interns. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to start my career in recruiting. Fresh out of university, I then got the opportunity to join Roland Berger as my employer of choice and could not imagine a more fulfilling job than to be part of the intern recruiting team.
Recruiting consulting interns and female talent
Together with my colleagues, it is my ambition to attract young talents to Roland Berger and accompany them on their way to become successful strategy consultants.
Beyond that, I am also responsible for the European Female Talent Program, which aims to support women in consulting in their personal and professional development, while also strengthening international collaboration between Roland Berger offices.
Working with inspiring people that care about each other
What I like most about my job is being surrounded by people who are not only talented, ambitious and unique in their personalities, but who also really care about and support each other. Being able to shape this work environment by recruiting Roland Berger's future consultants and accompanying them in their career development is really rewarding.
Be authentic. Be yourself.
At Roland Berger, we want you to be the original you. So bring your own ideas, perspectives and insights. We highly value new ways of looking at things and you can be sure that your opinion will be heard. Learning from each other is what allows us to grow as a firm. Hence, stay true to yourself.
