How do you manage your workload in your role?

In order to manage the workload for me the organization is key.
At the beginning of the project, I try to set the scene. Meaning I evaluate the issue and structure the project for me (sometimes with senior colleagues) and junior colleagues into tasks and setting internal deadlines.
A close communication with the client and other stakeholders in order to manage the expectations resulting in a manageable amount of work is also part of my approach.
Furthermore, I try to use all available resources, e.g. graphics and inputs from older projects.
