Passionate about automotive consulting from the very beginning
With a pure business background from my bachelor's degree, I decided to follow a more technology-related path for my master's program – which is why I chose TU Munich in combination with a double degree program with HEC Paris. After several internships in the consulting industry, it was clear to me that I would join one of the leading consultancy firms after my master's degree. My passion for the automotive industry and the possibility to directly focus on this sector meant that Roland Berger was my employer of choice from the very beginning – and, thankfully, it was a match! At Roland Berger I have the unique opportunity to combine my passion for vehicles with the highly relevant issues our clients have to deal with.
I support automotive players in the current industry transformation
Being a Senior Consultant in the Automotive Competence Center, I work on a broad range of topics globally, all of them related to the current hot topics in the automotive industry. Given the transformation that's currently ongoing in the industry, I support a broad range of OEMs and suppliers across Germany, the rest of Europe and the US on the latest trends like new mobility, autonomous driving, digitalization and electrification, as well as on product strategy and efficiency programs. For me it's exciting to see how the different players adapt to the changing market, how new players evolve and how we as Roland Berger can successfully support them on their strategic path.
In addition to my project work, I'm actively involved in our recruitment activities so there's a good chance you might meet me at one of the careers fairs and events we hold at universities :) I'm looking forward to meeting you in person one day!
Collaborating with unique personalities in a diverse environment
There are two main factors that motivate me daily: First, the colleagues at Roland Berger who are, on the one hand, very individual and unique but, on the other hand, great team players too, and, second, the possibility to shape my own career based on my personal preferences.
At Roland Berger, we aim for a diverse atmosphere, so we all differ in terms of background, experience and, most importantly, personality. Being allocated to different teams and project contexts throughout the year, I am always immensely positively surprised at how well we work together – across countries, across Competence Centers and across levels. The global Automotive Competence Center is my "family" at Roland Berger, an environment with great colleagues all around the world.
Individual opportunities are important to me. I don't want to follow the same path that everybody else trod before me or that is predetermined by the company – I strive to achieve personal goals by developing myself individually. One example here was my half-year office exchange to Paris in 2018, which gave me the opportunity to grow both personally and on a professional level.
