Many thanks for this great question. I think the answers vary widely amongst my colleagues as everyone enters consulting with her or his particular set of expectations. For me personally, I'd wished to have known how important it is to reach out to your fellow consultants early and openly in case of project-related questions. We as Roland Berger are able to deliver good solutions if we leverage our joint experiences across projects. Hence, reaching out to colleagues can really help you to get to solutions quickly. So for me the lesson learned was not to be too shy and to get in touch with the colleagues.
