Hi Anon, thankfully, I did not have an entirely unsuccessful project so far (and trying my best to avoid this ;-)). However, you of course can have setbacks during a project. And for me personally, I learned how important the alignment with all participants is and getting "everyone in one boat" before critical decisions.
