Hi Alice, can you please specify your question? Do you mean in terms of CO2 emissions?

Alice V.

Yes, particularly CO2 emissions but also in terms of resource usage in general—whether renewable resources would be central resource or whether fossil fuels and other nonrenewable resources would be used until depletion.

Yes, that's an intersting topic. At RB we distinguish the market trends in automotive in M (Mobility), A (Autonomous driving), D (Digitization), and E (Electrification). Referring to the rise of shared mobility I would say that the overall emissions are increasing in the first instance as both the 'traditional' car ownership and new offers like car / ride sharing co-exist. But I am personally sure that in the long-term the emissions will decrease. The question is if it will be fast enough.

When you look at electrification we definitely see the efforts of the industry to work on not only plug-in hybrid and full electric vehicle solutions but also further developing new technologies (hydrogen etc.). But we also discuss with clients the impact on ressources, e.g. when it comes to limited ones for battery production.
