The perception is that work culture at consulting companies is always very hectic

In hectic times, for example esp. in home office times, you can block some slots to do sports or move the meeting to walk-and-talk-meetings.

In RB, is it always required fir a consultant to choose a specific industry?

In general it is always good to talk to your project manager in order to find a good balance.

How are generalist vs specialist handled in RB?

And i know it depends on you work but in general how many months or years does it take to pass from the business analyst position to a consultant?

@Narine - yes, when you enter you need to choose a platform, which is mainly a function or an industry. However, this does not mean that you can only do project in this sector. I have a lot of colleagues who also did a project within a different platform.
